The Manhattan Division

Alan Reginald Strice, (physically) 25, Dispatch Supervisor. The ‘William’ of the Manhattan Reapers is certainly nothing like his London counterpart. Alan is rowdy, short-fused and just a little bit improper for the workplace. He treats his subordinates like little siblings, getting into fights with them and wrecking the office in the process. Much of his pay is lost to property damages. He teases Kent most often, but physically picks fights with the twins and Parker. His death scythe is a sledgehammer.

Parker Aiyana LeVaine, 17, Dispatch Officer and Kent’s Partner. Parker has been a big sister figure to Kent all his reaper life, and it’s through partnering up and becoming a team that they’ve gotten close as best friends. She’s one of the few female soul collectors in New York state, and she’s determined to tough it out and make it through as “one of New York’s best boys.” She’s every bit as tough as the guys are too, and probably even more once she gets riled up. Her death scythe is a harpoon staff.

James Roswell Marceaux, 18, Dispatch Officer.           James is well known by other local Dispatches as ‘Manhattan’s Cocky Bastard.’ He takes it as a compliment and happily goes about his business as one of the city’s best reapers. Someone unobservant could compare him and Ronald Knox, but unlike Ronald, James can get cruel, power-hungry and furious extremely quickly. Due to their natures, he and Kent often but heads and rarely get along. His death scythe is a combat gladius.

Cole Peter and Caine Samuel Hughes, 14, Junior Officers. Very rarely can you find a duo more confusing to fight than the Hughes Twins. Both identical in appearance and fight style, they attack in a whirl of snarky comments and blades. Overall they’re just a pair of goofball show-offs. They make it their duty to tease Kent, mostly about his height and baby face, but they show they care. They’re not even fully trained yet, but that doesn’t seem to stop them from tagging along unauthorized on Kent and Parker’s assignments. Their death scythes are two sai swords each.

Bismark Lionel Sanders, 38, Division Coordinator and Director. Mark is like the dad of the other reapers. When Alan starts getting rough with his subordinates, Mark is the one standing by with first aid ready. He may not look it, but he’s the oldest. Him and the first early new york city division were partially responsible for the First Great Fire of New York City back in the 1700s, which was a scuffle with some demons and other reaper branches. He’s the only director in the area to use a headset to communicate with the reapers in the field, since headsets are mostly used for the lower coordinators. His death scythe is an axe, and he prefers not to pair up in the field.
